Uxbridge Hearing Centre is a private practice audiology clinic (non-OHIP). Rates for hearing tests are reasonable, and, as you may know, the Ministry of Health no longer considers hearing aid evaluations as an insured benefit of OHIP. Therefore, at all audiology centres, including hospitals, the patient must pay for the provision of these services. The Centre adheres to the recommended fee schedule of the Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists.
